Comrades:

My name is Harry Poling. I am your elected District Three Commander for VFW Year 2022-2023. I am a Veteran of the US Marine Corps for five Years and the US Air Force for seventeen, retiring as a Master Sergeant. I qualify for the VFW as a Viet Nam Veteran having served while in the Air Force, assigned to the US Army Special Forces, Detachment B52, AKA Project Delta. I served as a Forward Air Controller Radio Operator. I was awarded The Bronze Star Medal for Valorous Service.

I feel I must echo Past Commander Seagraves by saying we must emphasize "COMMUNICATION” and service to our veteran brothers and sisters. I encourage each and every member of District Three to communicate and to talk to each other. Contact me or any member of my staff for assistance with any area of endeavor within the confines of our VFW duties. Every post Commander should strive for success by striving to complete all requirements to qualify to achieve "All State Post” status.

 Nothing less should be acceptable!
